Six Flags in the winter!

John had Saturdays off for the month of December (since Charlotte was born), and no matter what, he wanted to get out of the house (even when Charlotte was only 2 weeks old and such). I finally agreed to take advantage of our Season passes by going to Six Flags, great place to take a newborn, right? At least complete strangers are less likely to want to put their hands all over a newborn baby. Well, as it turns out, we couldn't find John's season pass, so we ended up buying new season passes that would be good for the month of December along with all of next year. Of course, after purchasing the season passes, we didn't bother to check the hours, we just assumed it would be regular season hours. Nope. We got there a full hour before the park opened and didn't want to have to pay for the bridge again to come back, so we were the first ones in the park! Yep, This is the closest space you can possibly get in the parking lot. Aren't you jealous?
California winters are a dream come true, but this winter has even been warmer than usual. Do you see that we don't even have coats on? Just long sleeve shirts!
Okay, well I have a sweater, but I'm not even a normal person (keep those thoughts to your self!) I'm always freezing, so that doesn't count.
There were no lines and we just enjoyed riding all of the rides together.
And we were so happy to get to have John with us!
So nice to have an extra pair of hands around for things like this! I love it when John gets to play with us on Saturdays!
The Walruses were extra attention-loving this trip too. This walrus kept following us around no matter where we were at the tank.

Ethan loved getting such a close-up look at the walrus!
